You can find Jumbo Shrimp off the coast of Jacksonville sometime in between the months of July to December, depending on the tides of that year. Mill Cove is another popular spot in the county, here Angler fisherman reportedly catch large amounts of Flounder and Redfish. In addition to freshwater fishing, deep sea fishing in the area is also very popular. Artificial Reefs off Florida’s Atlantic coast have been built to accelerate the conservation of ocean life, thus, big predator fish such as Grouper and Snook can be found preying on the other fish near the reefs. Set ‘em Up Fishing Charters andJacksonville Fishing Charters are both places you can gear up and get a great catch, with a little bit of help.
