Additionally, the park has access to the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail, a 106-mile route that is perfect for walking or biking. Afterwards, camp beneath the stars and rent canoes at the Fisheating Creek Outpost. One mile north of Fisheating Creek, is the city of Palmdale, where you can get your hearts racing at Gatorama, by getting an up-close view of alligators, snakes, crocodiles, and more exotic animals. Next, visit the Palmdale Horse Club for a serene horseback ride through the woods.
